What a week! God is so awesome and such a provider. I finally met someone from the DMV in Texas. We went to dinner and had a great time. Happy to have someone to vent to FINALLY! lol
Today at work I was getting extremely excited about my birthday. I originally started off this week with no plans for my birthday on Friday, tomorrow July 17. I then looked into going to see Phantom of the Opera in Houston but it cost more than I wanted to pay originally. Then I just went through another website and found some cheaper tickets so I booked them right away. So, yes I am going to see Phantom of the Opera tomorrow by ME, MYSELF and I and I am so excited. When I told my mom she was sooo shocked, but I don't need anyone there for me to have a good time. I know what makes me happy and I am comfortable and confident in myself that I can do things alone. Not many people are at that point in their lives so I thank God for molding and changing me into the woman I am. Last weekend my friend's best friend contacted me on facebook because she lives in Houston and she got my name from her friend. We started chatting and we love the same things and love to go out and we want to party. So, I hit her up today and she says that Shaq YES Shaq O'Neal is hosting a party in Houston tomorrow night. I am soooo down and crazy excited to be able to go out and have fun. No strings no rings no man! Single, sassy, and FREE to be me!!!! To continue with my day at work. I left work to drive home got into my car and my car wouldn't start. YES wouldn't start. So, first thing I did was call my mom and laugh. She told me my car would probably overheat in this Texas weather. I then called AAA and they came to the rescue only to find out that all my car needed was a jump. It just so happened to be the battery that was wrong with my car. THANK YOU LORD!!! I was hoping for the best and I got it because I had all of these great plans now for my birthday and I didn't want to cancel them. GOD IS SOOOO GOOD!!! I am so overwhelmed with joy, thankfulness, love, understanding, gratefulness, and humble to be a child of the most high and being able to celebrate my birthday with genuine positive people.
