Mixing Monday: Baking Soda Deep Conditioner

Baking Soda Conditioner Mixture

Ingredients:
1/2 cup Baking Soda
1/2 cup of cheap conditioner (I used Herbal Essences Hello Hydration) you may use VO5 or Suave
1 tbsp Dr. Bronners Eucalyptus Soap
2 tbsp Coconut Oil
1 tbsp Grape Seed Oil

Directions:
Mix all ingredients in a container until cake like consistency.  Substitute more or less for the length of hair.  Part hair into 4 sections like shown below.

Rake baking soda threw each individual section coating hair from root to tips.  Place clip back on hair and move to next section until entire head is coated with conditioner mixture.  Place shower cap on head and sit under dryer for 20 minutes.  Another option is to wet a hand towel and put it in the microwave for 2 minutes.  Place on head covering with another towel for about 10 minutes and repeat.  The option I chose was to deep condition over a period of time. I kept the baking soda conditioner in my hair for at least 8 hours.  I normally would love to deep condition over night to receive maximum results.

So fresh and so clean after I rinsed out the conditioner
Here is my style for the week! Flat twist up the front and micro twists in the back
