Tasty Tuesday: Red Velvet Cupcakes FAIL! lol

Remember last week when I posted the recipe for Red Velvet Cupcakes?

Well, I did try the recipe and it was a major FAIL!  I think it was because I used All Purpose Flour instead of Cake Flour.  IDK *kanye shrug*  My cupcakes over flowed and sunk.  It looked like a bomb went off in my kitchen with blood everywhere. lol  Well more like burnt RED cake batter everywhere. You get my point.  Yea the picture is worth more than 1000 words.  So, instead I put the remaining cake batter into a cake pan and thus we have a Red Velvet Cake.  The cake turned out delicious and the Cream Cheese Icing was even better than it looks, I added crushed pecans to the icing to give it texture.  I loved it!  YUMMO :)
