My Napptural Prayer
My napptural hair
Which are on my head
Hallowed be thy texture
Thy curls come
Thy coils be done
On my head as it does on other African-Americans
Give me this day of manageability
And forgive me for killing you with relaxer
As I forget those who choose to stick with that creamy crack
And lead me not into temptation
But help me to embrace my nappurality
For you are special, unique, and beautiful forever and ever Amen!
