Mixing Monday: Kinky Curly Curling Custard Gel

Kinky Curly Curling Custard  (KCCC) is a hit or miss product for many naturals including me.  Before I started to loc my hair back in January '10, my hair texture was very curly and KCCC worked well.  I loved how it looked on my wet hair and I would rock wash and gos all summer.  After I combed out my locs in August '10, my hair texture changed and wasn't as curly.  I've been going back and forth on how should I use this product.  I decided to try it out as a gel and use it to slick down my puff.  My hair looked amazing.  It was very shining and had a wavy texture.  I will continue to use KCCC as a gel and will try wash and gos when it gets warmer.  My suggestion for using products that may not have worked for you in the past is to find innovative ways for them to work for you.
