Transformation Thursday: 2011 Vision Board

A vision board (also called a Treasure Map or a Visual Explorer or Creativity Collage) is typically a poster board on which you paste or collage images that you've torn out from various magazines.

It's very simple.  The main idea behind having a vision board is that when you surround yourself with images of who you want to become, what you want to have, where you want to live, or where you want to vacation, your life changes to match those images and those desires.

For instance, if I put a picture of a home with a sold sign in the yard, it signifies that I'm going to purchase a home.  The hope is that the vision or image is painted in your mind and it comes to fruition.

Habbakuk 2:2-3 states "And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.  For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry."

Do you have a 2011 vision board?  Have you asked God for his vision for your life in 2011?  Does your vision align with God's vision?  Is your 2011 vision board written plainly?  Are you waiting patiently for your vision to come to fruition?

Keep the Faith!

Until next time,
~E
