Erica M. F. McAfee is a Chemical Engineer, community leader, mom, entrepreneur, blogger, and self proclaimed chef based in Charlotte, North Carolina. She is currently a Environmental, Health, and Safety Engineer for Corning Incorporated, where she offers her expertise in engineering to solve problems faced daily in operations.
Erica muses daily at her personal blog Share EMF’s World as she shares her personal journey of pregnancy and infant loss, explores her love for Natural Hair Care, Entrepreneurship, Cooking, and empowering the community through service.
When she is not plotting to take over the world, Erica enjoys tutoring middle and high school students in mathematics and science and mentoring college students. She has a strong passion for service and believes giving back is the only way to move forward. Erica is a selfless, servant leader who knows that true leadership must be for the benefit of others, not the leader. She also enjoy spending time with her husband Brandon and family and friends.
Erica is a May 2009 graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with her BS in Chemical Engineering.
