WOW!!! A week from today I will be starting my career SCARY!!!! BUT EXCITING :) Today I worked out on the elliptical for about 20 minutes. I realized how out of shape I am and tomorrow I will try to go for 30 minutes. Have you ever been in a place when you know there is stuff that you could be doing but you don't do it? That is where I am now. I have a few boxes left that I could un pack and some pictures that I could put up but I really don't feel like it, however, I need something productive to do. Today I went to Marshalls, Goodwill, Hobby Lobby, and Dollar Tree I feel like I was just trying to get out of the house. LOL So much to do when you move to a new area..Rental Insurance, New Drivers License, New Vehicle Registration, Have to get inspected in Texas in order to get my Vehicle Registered and my Texas plates...this is exactly why they say 30 days to do all of this stuff.
So, tomorrow I am going to State Farm to pay for my rental insurance and I am going to call my supervisor and the President of the Black Employee Success Team to let them know I am here and getting settled. Wednesday I am going to go back to Antioch Missionary Baptist Church to their Family Conference to hear a word from God and to here Kim Burrell sing. Thursday I may actually start putting up some of the boxes and may even stain my desk. Friday I want to do the picture thing and then see what my friend Meegan in Baton Rouge is doing for the weekend. Then who knows from there I could be in Houston, Baton Rouge, or New Orleans this weekend with friends. Sunday prepare for work on Monday. Monday first day at ExxonMobil!!! OMG I can't believe this week is gonna fly by so fast I am really not going to know what to do with myself.
I can't wait to meet some people here in Beaumont. I am a true extravert and need other people around me to keep my energy and chi going. So, to say the least living alone and being by myself isn't my favorite thing to do and will take some getting used to but I am so blessed to have this opportunity in my life and I thank God everyday for sending me here to do his work.
Keep the Faith!
Until next time,
~E
