Mixing Monday: Spritz Leave-In Sealer Conditioner

I am always trying out new versions of old recipes.  I have modified my Spritz Leave In to seal in the moisture on my hair when its out from a twist out or braid out or in a fro.  It keeps my hair sealed and minimizes breakage and knots.  Enjoy!
Ingredients1 part aloe vera gel (100 percent!)
1 part water
A little veggie glycerin or jojoba oila few drops essential oils
Aloe Vera Gel- try to only use 100 percent food grade AVG. It will not be gel like, but more like a thick liquid. The gel like ones are not 100 percent and often contain additives.
Water- Water, the ultimate moisturizer. A lot of people like to use distilled water, but I just use regular water out of the tap.
Vegetable Glycerin- A natural, serum like, clear ingredient often found in hygiene products. It is a humectant , which helps draw moisture from the air. So, very helpful if it’s humid out. A lot of spritz recipes call for a lot more glycerin, but I find a couple of drops help me. I really recommend using this in the summer more than the winter. Be warned that glycerin is not a friend to every natural.
Essential oils- Use a few drops of whatever you like. I like orange, lemon, and grapefruit.

Keep the Faith!
Until next time,
~E
