Workout Wednesdays: Breakfast Smoothies
The 21 day fast is over. I survived besides getting sick during week two. I'm now adding for the next 30 days grilled and baked poultry. Gonna try my best to stick to this new way of eating. No more sweets (I slipped up during Valentine's day weekend). I have also decided to make a breakfast smoothie to drink before I workout every morning. I have been slacking these last few days due to a new position at work, but today I'm back on track. Going to workout from 515-615am every morning, Monday thru Friday. How is your workout schedule? What works best for you?
Here is a quick Berrie & Banana Smoothie Recipe. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 1 cup frozen mixed berries
- 1 frozen ripe banana
- 1/2 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
Directions
Combine all ingredients together in a blender and puree until smooth.
