It's Bump Day! Week 14 Pregnancy Update

Week 14 started out very scary. I woke up to blood in my urine and freaked out. I went to the hospital and everything was fine. They took an ultrasound, checked my blood, checked my cervix, and my doctor even came to the hospital ER to make sure I was okay. Baby is growing and nothing was wrong. I was put on pelvic rest and cannot move or lift heavy objects for the duration of this pregnancy. Talk about scary! I didn’t know what to think or do. I didn’t even want to pray at that moment. Thank God for a praying husband! He is amazing and helped me through this the best way he knew how by PRAYER. I’m better now, but I thought my world was ending. Not the way I expected to start off Week 14, but I’m thankful God gave me the strength to pull through and I have peace that everything is going to be alright. I know that I will see my Gummy bear in September. Below are my 14 week updates.

How far along? 14 weeks 5 days
Total weight gain/measurements: 2 lbs
Maternity clothes: Nope not yet
Stretch marks: None new
Sleep: 8-9 hours.
Best moment this week: Knowing that everything was ok.
Miss anything? Nothing this week.
Movement: Thought I felt some flutters, but it was just gas. LOL
Food cravings: Ruby Red Grapefruit and Bacon
Anything making you queasy or sick? Fish smells
Gender: Don’t know yet, but I have my ideas. I plan to ask for them to see if they can see the genital area during my next ultrasound.
Labor signs: None
Symptoms: None
Belly button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or moody most of the time: I’m happy that everything is fine and that the bleeding has stopped. I was overly anxious and my blood pressure was through the roof. I am happy that is pass me and I’m looking forward to September.
Looking forward to: I’m looking forward to going home for Easter this weekend. I plan to tell my grandparents, god parents, step sisters, and cousins in person that I’m expecting.

Keep the Faith

Until next time,

~E
